On Wednesday, December 31st, the USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier in Mount Pleasant, SC will not be occupied with the usual wanderers exploring a decommissioned ship. Instead, the venue will be transformed into the third annual Yorktown Countdown, Charleston’s largest New Year’s Celebration. The nation’s premier aircraft carrier ball drop party will provide two different admission level options, live music performances on three separate stages, premium spirits, light hors d’oeuvres, magnificent views for the holiday festivities and much more.
