Cooper River Bridge Kids Run and Wonderfest
April 5, 2013
Gather with friends and family at Hampton Park the day before the big Bridge Run. Events for kids will range from short distances up to one mile. In addition, there will be a great party in the Park with fabulous activities, foods, and drinks. Wonderfest will bring new activities to the Kids Run such as child entrepreneurs displaying their products, children entertainers and musical acts, top national toy manufacturers displaying the summer's hottest toys, a Wonder Works toy play zone, and a free toy for every child in attendance. Lowcountry Cajun Festival

Charleston Patriot Challenge
April 13, 2013
The Charleston Patriot Challenge offers two courses. Experienced paddlers can race in the 6 mile course which is out to the Harbor and back to Brittlebank Park. Recreational paddlers will enjoy the 3 mile course up the Ashley River. There will be awards for all categories. Great prizes include an Epic Kayak drawn by lottery, Epic carbon paddles, beach totes, dinner at Charleston restaurants, and more. Enjoy great fun along the Ashley River for a great cause. Charleston Bed Race
April 14, 2013 
Jump under the sheets and roll down to Mary Murray Boulevard in Hampton Park for the 4th Annual Charleston Bed Race. Judges and spectators will watch a grand parade of the racing beds before the heats begin. Judges will look for the fastest bed, slowest bed, best decorated, most outrageously decorated, the "What were you thinking?" bed, and the People's Choice Award.
